BYLD built the Webpunk mobile app end to end as a greenfield project using React Native, with Railway powering the backend infrastructure. We integrated Privy for authentication and wallet creation, developed smart contracts on Hedera for managing payments to purchase usernames, and integrated NFT sending and crypto payment flows between users.
A key feature was the profile grid system, a new concept that displays users' favourited posts in a customizable web-like interface, giving each profile a unique visual identity. The result is a fully decentralized social network where users own their identity and assets on-chain.
